Abstract

Propone las bases para una política social alternativa, tomando en cuenta el contexto histórico de la política social en América Latina y el nuevo rol de dicha política, para luego plantear contenidos prioritarios en la construcción de la política social alternativa. También analiza el rol del Estado como instrumento de dominación de clase y como una forma de cohesión social histórica, así como las repercusiones del neoliberalismo en la política social.
