Abstract
El autor menciona que para irle dando sostenibilidad a las finanzas públicas salvadoreñas, se deben impulsar tanto medidas de aumento de ingreso como de racionalización/reducción del gasto. Las dos van juntas. El equilibrio fiscal implica “caminar sobre dos patas”. Adicionalmente, también se necesita integrar medidas de manejo de deuda así como reformas en la administración tributaria, tal como lo plantean las propuestas de FUNDE. Y todo ello acompañado de medidas de reactivación y sostenibilidad del crecimiento económico.
